CDSR dredging hoses help “Chang Shi 19″ improve the efficiency of Yangtze River waterway maintenance

The "Chang Shi 19" is a 2,000m³/h self-propelled cutter suction dredger built by the Changjiang Waterway Engineering Bureau to cope with the complex waterway environment in the middle and lower reaches of Yangtze River and the upper reaches of the reservoir area. The ship is 130 meters in length, 25.9 meters in width, 5.8 meters in draft, and has a maximum dredging depth of 28 meters. It is equipped with a medium-sized steel pile trolley and an anchor rod system, and is an important force in China's inland river dredging projects. It is mainly used for waterway maintenance and emergency dredging tasks in the Wuhan to Anqing section. 

CDSR dredging hose played a key role in the efficient operation of "Chang Shi 19". The Yangtze River waterway has a high sediment content and high particle hardness. Traditional hoses are prone to wear and have a short lifespan during long-term high-intensity operations, seriously affecting the continuity and cost-effectiveness of operations. CDSR armored hose has excellent wear resistance and impact resistance due to its built-in wear-resistant steel ring, which can effectively resist the wear of the pipe wall during the transportation process of the medium, greatly extending the service life of the hose. The CDSR floating hose also demonstrated excellent adaptability in the operations of the "Chang Shi 19". The CDSR floating hose has a wide operating temperature range and can operate stably between -20°C and 50°C. It is capable of transporting water, seawater and various complex media such as mixtures of silt, clay and sand. The continuous development of floating hose technology enables it to integrate more functional modules, maximize stable and efficient transportation capabilities, and thus form an independent floating pipeline system that is directly connected to the stern of the dredger. This not only greatly improves the pipeline transportation efficiency and extends the sustainable operation time, but also significantly reduces the maintenance cost, providing reliable guarantee for the long-term, high-intensity dredging tasks of "Chang Shi 19" in the Yangtze River waterway. 

The CDSR dredging hose's structural design optimizes material handling efficiency and reduces sediment loss caused by spillage. This improves loading efficiency while minimizing water disturbance, meeting the requirements of Yangtze River ecological protection.
