As an important port development project in West Africa, Nigeria's Lekki Port shoulders the strategic mission of improving port throughput capacity, promoting regional economic development and strengthening the country's comprehensive transportation system. The construction of Lekki Port not only promotes the rapid economic growth of Nigeria, but also profoundly affects the trade pattern of the entire West Africa. In this key project, the cutter suction dredger "Xin Hai Tun 2" independently developed by CCCC Shanghai Dredging Co., Ltd. has become the main construction force with its advanced equipment and excellent performance, helping the Lekki Port project to proceed smoothly.

During the construction of Lekki Port, the "Xin Hai Tun 2" was equipped with floating hoses supplied by CDSR, which effectively ensured the continuous and efficient operation of filling and dredging operations. CDSR floating hose has significantly improved the stability and durability of the pipeline with its unique structural design and excellent material properties. The specific advantages include:
● The built-in foam layer allows the hose to float naturally on the water surface, preventing the pipeline from sinking to the bottom and getting clogged, which ensures long-distance continuous transportation without obstruction

● Excellent corrosion resistance, it can resist erosion from seawater, sediments and various chemical media, and adapt to complex and changing construction environments
● Easy to lay and move, effectively reducing the labor intensity of on-site workers and the burden of machinery use
● Modular pipe section design facilitates quick replacement and maintenance, greatly shortens downtime and improves overall construction efficiency
The Lekki Port project places extremely high demands on the transport and delivery capacity of dredgers. The efficiency bottleneck problem caused by blockage or leakage of the pipeline in the past has been effectively solved through the application of CDSR floating hoses. This not only ensures the efficient and stable operation of the "Xin Hai Tun 2" filling process, but also provides solid support for the construction progress of each stage of the project.
