The Brunei petrochemical project is an important node project in the "Belt and Road" initiative. The Brunei petrochemical project is located in an offshore oilfield development area, and the oil transportation system needs to face multiple influences such as seawater environment, tidal stress, temperature changes and fluid chemical composition. Conventional hoses may be affected by internal and external corrosion, localized wear, or mechanical damage during long-term service, thereby increasing the risk of leakage and maintenance costs. To improve system reliability and extend service life, CDSR 24’’ double carcass oil hose was selected as the solution for the oil string trunk line.

In floating oil hoses applications, the excellent flexibility and weather resistance enable CDSR floating oil hoses to adapt to complex and ever-changing marine environments. Whether facing the impact of waves or the corrosion of seawater, these hoses can operate stably and ensure the efficient transportation of crude oil. In the submarine oil hoses section, due to the excellent pressure resistance and sealing performance, CDSR submarine oil hose can ensure the safe and continuous transportation of crude oil under high pressure, effectively avoiding risks such as crude oil leakage.
The successful application of CDSR 24’’ double carcass oil hose in Brunei petrochemical project is of profound significance. It not only effectively promoted the smooth implementation of the project and ensured the supply of crude oil for petrochemical production, but also demonstrated China's technological strength and innovation capabilities in the field of offshore oil engineering equipment.
