Beach development and ecological balance

Generally, beach erosion is caused by tidal cycles, currents, waves and severe weather, and may also be aggravated by human activities. Beach erosion can cause the coastline to recede, threatening the ecosystem, infrastructure and life safety of residents in coastal areas.

Beach reclamation

Beach reclamation is the act of excavating sandy soil from beaches and filling the water to expand the land area. This method can create more land space to a certain extent and promote economic development and urban construction.

Beach sand

Dredging is the basic process of beach reclamation. The dredging project is to clean up the silt and debris in the seabed, ports and other waters to ensure the smooth flow of waterways and the health of the water ecological environment. Dredging generally redistributes sand on the beach mechanically or manually. Dredgers are usually used to carry out dredging projects to suck away sand, silt and other sediments from the seabed. The collected material is then transported and deposited onto a beach or shoreline. Dredging can help maintain the natural form of beaches, reduce beach erosion and protect coastal ecosystems. It should be noted that excessive sand dredging may also have a negative impact on the beach ecosystem, so scientific planning and strict control are required when carrying out sand dredging operations to avoid unnecessary damage.

Beach reclamation and sand dredging are two common behaviors in coastal development, which have important impacts on the environment and ecosystems. When choosing between reclamation and dredging, it is necessary to comprehensively consider and seek a balanced development path to achieve a virtuous cycle of economic development and ecological protection. As the first and leading manufacturer of oil hoses (GMPHOM 2009) and dredging hoses in China, CDSR not only has extensive experience in product design and manufacturing, but also actively pays attention to environmental issues such as beach reclamation and sand dredging. In the future, CDSR will be committed to developing more environmentally friendly and sustainable materials and technologies, and contribute to marine ecological protection and environmental protection.
