Oil and gas industry

Petroleum is a liquid fuel mixed with various hydrocarbons. It is usually buried in rock formations underground and needs to be obtained through underground mining or drilling. Natural gas mainly consists of methane, which mainly exists in oil fields and natural gas fields. A small amount also comes from coal seams. Natural gas needs to be obtained through mining or drilling.

Offshore oil and gas resources are one of the world's important sources of energy, and their extraction is crucial to maintaining global energy supply. The energy industry is generally divided into three main segments: upstream, midstream and downstream

Upstream is the starting link of the entire supply chain, mainly including the exploration, extraction and production of oil and gas. At this stage, oil and gas resources require exploration activities to identify underground reserves and development potential. Once a resource is identified, the next step is the process of extraction and production. This includes drilling, water injection, gas compression and other activities to improve the production efficiency of resources.

Midstream is the second part of the oil and gas industry chain, mainly including transportation, storage and processing. At this stage, oil and gas need to be transported from where they are produced to where they are processed or used. There are various modes of transportation, including pipeline transportation, railway transportation, shipping, etc.

Downstream is the third part of the oil and gas industry chain, mainly including processing, distribution and sales. At this stage, crude oil and gas need to be processed and produced into various forms, Include natural gas, diesel oil, petrol, gasoline, lubricants, kerosene, jet fuel, asphalt, heating oil, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) as well as a number of other types of petrochemicals. These products will be sold to various fields for use in people's daily lives and industrial production.

As a supplier of offshore oil fluid engineering hose products, CDSR floating oil hoses, submarine oil hoses, catenary oil hoses and seawater uptake hoses and other products can provide important support for offshore oil and gas development projects. CDSR will continue to be committed to technology research and development and product innovation, providing customers with better and more reliable fluid transportation solutions, and assisting the sustainable development of the offshore oil and gas industry.
