- It can convey a mixture of seawater, fresh water and silt, clay and sand with a specific gravity between 1.0 and 2.0

- It can also be used to transport mixtures of water(or seawater), gravel, flaky weathered rock and coral reef, ranging in specific gravity from 1.0 g/cm³ to 2.3 g/cm³

 

Cost-effective buoyancy solution

The pipe float is an auxiliary product specially designed to provide buoyancy support. It is composed of steel pipe, floating body, outer cover and retaining rings at both ends. The main materials are Q235, PE foam, NR. Compared with ordinary floats, it has significant advantages:

1.Structural characteristics: good rigidity, straight-through pipeline, easy to install

2.Buoyancy performance: it has good floating performance and can provide large residual buoyancy

3.Durability: excellent weather resistance and strong wind and wave resistance

4.Economical: high utilization rate, can be replaced and reused

 

The use of the pipe float is very flexible. After being installed on the steel pipe (main mud discharge pipe), it needs to be fixed in the middle to maintain the uniformity and balance of the buoyancy of the steel pipe. One of its major features is its reusability - when the steel pipe used to transport mud and sand is worn and broken, the damaged steel pipe can be removed, the pipe float can be retained and loaded onto a new steel pipe for reuse.

Compared with ordinary PE buoys, pipe floats have better stability, stronger impact resistance and aging resistance, and a much longer service life, making them an ideal, economical and efficient choice for long-term projects.

 

Experts in flexible connection

The tapered floating hose can adapt to the work needs of dredging water pipelines by changing the distribution of buoyancy. The conventional buoyancy design is SG1.6. Its features include:

● Used as one the bow blowing hoses of the trailing suction hopper dredger
